A group of women aged between 20 and 40-something, kicking a ball around, trying to play some form of football and having fun at the same time.

Training on Friday's at Ducklington from 7:00 - 8:00.
Don't forget your drink and shin pads!

Session subs: £2 each.

An optional Fitness Training session is held on Wednesday's at Ducklington from 6 - 7 pm. No charge for this session.

  Ducklington Ladies V Reading Vixens (2nd Nov)
 

A great game, in the first half shots from Ducklington hitting the post, and some near misses.

Into the 2nd half and Vixens went in the lead, shortly followed by a 2nd goal. Ducklington came back with a corner being converted on the head by Debbie Richards.

A penalty was given to Vixens for a handball - keeper Amanda Bevan, made a fantastic save. Minutes later a free kick was given to Vixens just outside the box which gave them a 3-1 win.

Karen Slatter was player of the match.

Ducklington's fifth match of the season was played against Olney Ladies.

We had a handful of opportunities in the first half, which unfortunately didn't reach the back of the net. 0-0 at half time.

Going into the 2nd half we were again strong with some great work from the defence through to the midfield, and passing some great balls through to our attackers.

A late break in the 85th minute saw Nicola Warner hit the post, with Karen Slatter following it up and securing our win.

Player of the match was awarded to our central defender - Kim Reynolds. 

  Newbury Reserves V Ducklington Ladies (12th Oct)
 

Ducklington faced Newbury Reserves.

The game started with some great attack from Duck, Karen Slatter opening the score line followed by a free kick from Samantha Talbot.

Just before half time, Newbury scored. The second half started and central defender Kim Reynolds injured had to retire. Newbury relished on this, and attacked hard, defence from Debra Scott, Karan Robinson, Simone Kemen and Nicola Warner was exhausted, Newbury scored another 9 goals!

Final score 10-2!

  Ducklington Ladies V Marlow Town (5th Oct)
 

Ducklington Ladies started their 3rd game of the season following two defeats to date, playing Malow Town.

Within first 10 mins a penalty was conceeded keeper Amanda Bevan tipped it with her fingers but it still hit the back of the net.

Straight from the re start Jodie Perry crossed the ball over to the right wing to pick out Samantha Talbot who equalised a minute later with a shot outside the box.

10 mins on Karan Slatter found the back of the net from a tight angle for ducks 2nd.


The game was 50/50 for the next 30 mins , however Marlow equalised just before half time.

20 mins in to 2nd half ducklington scored again with player of the match Sam Talbot taking a brace for the game with her second and some fine defending from the back four taking the game to the final score of 3-2.
